Shraddhanjali for Srinivas Medicherla on Sep 22

Dear current and former parents and teachers,

It is with profound grief that we inform you about the passing away of our own Srinivas Medicherla, our dear and long term friend and totally dedicated Purna Vidya teacher.  He was battling cancer bravely for the past year and a half.  He passed away on Monday morning, 10 days shy of his 57th birthday.

Sinivas was a pillar of this program!  He taught Ramayana and sometimes Bhagavata Purana (currently Grades 3 and 4) continuously from Sep 2002 until his health did not permit him some time during the 2018 season. We all owe a tremendous amount to the Medicherla family as each member of his family has taught; some for many years!!

We informed the teachers who ever taught with Srinivas, and currently enrolled parents whose children were taught by him about his memorial service that took place yesterday.

This mail is to inform and invite you to the Shraddhanjali (Tribute) in dear Srinivas’ honor, that we plan to hold this coming Sunday during an extended assembly that will start at 10:02 as usual.

If your children (no matter the age) have memories, please ask them to share as well.  We will have memory cards in the school on Sunday also.
